Modifying the Honda K20 Oil pump to bolt onto the K24

The K series is a great engine there is no questioning that. One of the things that changed during the evolution was the oil pump. In the K24’s the pump was changed to a very large unit with counterbalancing shafts. While this is probably great for removing vibrations there are a few drawbacks. Its large, heavy and has a bigger rotating mass. In addition to this it is also known to have issues with higher RPM. For this reason I decided to upgrade to a K20 oil pump. All K20A’s have the same pump so if you can get your hands on any it will be fine. Steps below show how you go about putting it on your k24.
